The Family Welfare Centre (FWC) is located in the heart of the Metropolitan City of Bangalore, and its main function is to help young men and women to form and sustain their married life. These days, when relationships in the family life are at stake and no proper commitment in the married couples, one wonders what could be the reason! The answer is very simple: Couples are not aware of the Christian dimension of marriage, inter-personal communication, conflict management, responsible parenthood, etc. At present, there is no Catholic institution in Bangalore Archdiocese that imparts such knowledge except the FWC. 
It gives me great joy to mention that this Centre is growing from strength to strength because of many dedicated volunteers and committed staff. Our Archbishop Bernard Moras is also extending his full support and cooperation in making the vision of the FWC a reality.
Of late, the Family Welfare Centre is trying to become more professional by setting up an AC Hall, a good infrastructure, resource library and presentation equipments, such as good Audio-systems, Computers, OHP, DVD, Digital Camera, an LCD projector and now a Website of its own! All this is done with a sole intention of making the participants more comfortable and our resource persons more professional.
Even though the FWC functions independently, it is undoubtedly a wing of the Archdiocesan Family Commission, and as such it has the same ideology, orientation and action plan. 
The future developments of the FWC depend on all our well wishers and collaborators like each one of you. Your participation in all our activities and projects would certainly help the FWC grow and vice versa. Therefore, don’t watch us grow, but grow with us!
